Talya Galasko is a Cape Town-based writer and director who specialises in creating original branded content and short films.

Over the years, Talya has managed to create an immersive world for her viewers by pairing a distinct visual aesthetic with rich and complex characters. Formative experience as a copywriter and editor is evident, as narrative is at the heart of everything she does. Talya’s work has been described as provocative and in some instances, even irreverent. She is a detailee – a fanatic and obsessor of specifics – the first to arrive and last to leave an edit suite (although unfortunately, she is often also 5 minutes late to set).
